Eidos Montreal and Aspyr have joined forces to remaster classic RPG Deus Ex, which will arrive in February 2026.
The details:
As announced during PlayStation’s State of Play, Deus Ex Remastered will be released on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on February 5, 2025. The title is being developed by Human Revolution studio Eidos Montreal alongside popular remaster developer Aspyr and has been described as the “definitive version of Ion Storm’s legendary cyberpunk immersive sim.”
It’s said that it will feature "visual upgrades, modern enhancements, and quality-of-life improvements," though further details are scarce. According to a PlayStation blog post published alongside the reveal, its control scheme and menus have been modernized for both PC and consoles, with inspiration taken from Eidos’ Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided.
As for visual and gameplay changes, the remake will offer lip-synced dialogue, improved character models, new lighting, dynamic shadows, particle systems, and upscaled textures. It will also include ragdoll physics for additional immersion.
