Video game giant Activision Blizzard has received another lawsuit that alleges sexual harassment among other serious claims.
The suit: It was first reported by the Daily Mail.
- A plaintiff named Jane Doe filed the lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior Court.
- The unidentified complainant alleges failure to prevent harassment, gender discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual battery, and sexual harassment.
- The former employee is also suing her former manager, Miguel Vega, for allegedly making sexual comments and advances — including repeatedly groping her. It also alleges that Vega threatened to release "compromising photos" of her numerous times.
- The suit claims that Vega was let go of by Activision Blizzard in August 2021 following reports from Doe to human resources.
The bigger picture: There's a lot of pressure on ActiBlizz and its CEO, Bobby Kotick.
