As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the core tools and features that drive innovation in game development for live service games. Your expertise will be essential in crafting intuitive, cutting-edge interfaces and user experiences that empower developers to bring their creative visions to life. We seek a Senior UX Designer with extensive experience in game development tools to help us design powerful, efficient, and user-friendly solutions for our developer community. What you'll be doing
User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research to understand the needs, pain points, and workflows of game developers working on multiplayer and live service games. Translate research findings into actionable insights and UX strategies.
Tool Design: Design intuitive, efficient, and powerful tools that enable developers to create, manage, and optimize multiplayer and live service game experiences. Ensure that the tools support complex game development workflows while remaining accessible and easy to use.
Prototyping & Testing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts. Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback from developers and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that UX designs are aligned with product goals and technical constraints. Advocate for the needs of the end-users throughout the development process.
Design Systems & Documentation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, guidelines, and documentation that ensure consistency and scalability across all tools and features.
What we're looking for
Experience: Experience in UX design, with a strong focus on game development or artist tooling, experience in the multiplayer game development and live service game operations space is a plus.
Expertise: Deep understanding of the game development process, especially in the context of multiplayer and live service games. Experience designing tools for game engines or similar complex software is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) is a plus.
User-Centered Design: Strong skills in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing. Ability to translate complex requirements into elegant and intuitive UX solutions.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience leading design projects from concept to delivery.

Experience with multiplayer game design or live service game operations.
Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot) and scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) is a plus.
Experience in designing for accessibility and inclusivity in development tools.
