OG’s daily management operates primarily from its offices in Denmark; however OG’s employees work from different locations across the world. Rocket League Social Media Manager
Job Overview
The Rocket League Social Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Rocket League channels on social media. They will also play a key role in shaping the tone of voice and content output for all things Rocket League at OG Esports.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Social Media & Marketing teams on crafting the Rocket League Social Media Strategy.
Manage & maintain the Rocket League social media channels across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok. Ensuring the execution of the overall Social Media Strategy.
Define and maintain the OG Rocket League tone of voice, deploying this on a daily basis across all brand communications.
Cover all Rocket League competitive games, developing an at-home tournament experience through social media & creating content on-site at offline events.
Work directly with the partnerships team to ensure completion of all commercial deliverables relating to Rocket League.
Plan and execute campaigns for the Merchandise team to convert our North American audience into sales on the online store.
Monitor and respond to inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up to date on trends within the Rocket League community & Social Media. Leveraging the information to shape our engagement strategy and social media strategy.
Work with the Content team to create and shape our content output around Rocket League and the OG Esports brand.
Qualifications & skills
Proficient in the English language for internal team communications.
Deep understanding of Rocket League and the Esports ecosystem
2+ years of experience in Social Media Management.
Strong understanding of social media best practices on channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook & more.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Ability to travel internationally if required.
