Logitech is actively seeking the expertise and commercial nous of an astute Retail Account Manager for New Zealand to join their high performance sales team. With a successful track record they are renowned for quality products that complement an exceptional and successful portfolio offering.

Reporting to the Country Manager, it will be your responsibility to manage one of the major portfolios in the business. Core functions of this role will include all key areas of National Account Management encompassing development and implementation of strategic business sales plans, promotional planning and activity, category delivery and implementation, trade spend, margin profitability and increased market share.

Further to this an understanding to implement strategies ensuring the achievement of revenue, growth and productive relationships. You will be managing and strategizing with the largest customers on a national level. You will develop customer business plans, develop promotional programs and fully utilise marketing and category management resources to develop your business with national retail chains.

As an integral part of this team you will be responsible for:

  • Leading success for New Zealand Retail Businesses

  • Managing budget and program effectiveness with set accounts

  • Developing strong client relationships with national retailers

  • Making recommendations regarding efficiency and sales growth

  • Keeping abreast of industry information and initiatives

  • Analysing and implementing Logitech’s sales and marketing strategies

  • Developing strong business plans and preparing client reports

  • Financial management of the client’s budgets

  • Leading retail conference engagement and sales training initiatives 

  • Preparation and ownership of quarterly business performance reviews with set accounts 

The successful applicant will:

  • Have previous retail level Account Management with min 5-years+ experience in Retail Environment, preferably in consumer electronics

  • Be a team player attitude and the ability to work autonomously

  • Have a creative go-to-market mindset

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport

  • Analytical skills and articulate with numbers

  • Self motivation and a passion for results

  • Degree preferred
