Ginx TV Ltd. operates GINX Esports TV, the world's largest esports TV network, reaching 25+ million homes, as well as the fast-growing web platform ginx.tv, which has 2.5M monthly unique users. We are a specialist esports and gaming independent production company and create content not only for our owned and operated sites/networks, but also for brands and 3rd-party media. Our studios and offices are in London's Kings Cross.

Role

We are looking for a new Social Media Manager with a passion for the gaming & esports ecosystem to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage multiple accounts on all typical social media platforms. You will also be responsible to create part of the content and engage with our wider community. As a part of the Ginx TV team, you will be expected to think of and bring to life new ideas in the gaming world, whilst increasing reach, engagement, and the following of the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Create and post engaging content via owned social media channels

  • Manage community across social media channels, actively engaging with the wider Ginx community

  • Monitor social trends and incorporate findings into content, campaigns, and initiatives

  • Work with relevant team members and management to develop ideas and create new content formats

  • Interact with influencers & brands where required

  • Grab a camera and cover events at our offices and sometimes on the road

  • Report and feedback regularly on social performance and targets

  • Run the social media content calendar

Experience

  • 1 year or more experience in planning and creating entertaining and engaging social media content

  • A passion for social media and a strong understanding of the link between why things spread on social

  • A deep understanding and knowledge of the gaming and esports industry

  • Ability to write punchy, engaging, and reactive copy

  • Ability to understand social analytics data & tools

  • Flexible to work outside working hours when required - evenings and weekend coverage for esports events, game launches, or similar

  • Strong communication & organizational skills

  • Advanced in Adobe Photoshop & Premiere
