Gameloft Montreal is looking for a communications specialist to join its communications team. Under the supervision of the director of communications, the communications specialist will promote the Gameloft Montreal brand image to its various audiences. This person must have enthusiasm, demonstrate creativity, and display their organizational skills, initiative, and communication talent.

As part of their duties, we require the employee to come to the studio three times a week so they can properly perform their tasks.

Job Description:

  • Taking part in the creation and development of communications plans
  • Coordinating public-relations work
  • Suggesting and seizing upon relevant potential opportunities for increased visibility
  • Managing Gameloft Montreal’s various social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and X)
  • Writing press releases and newsletters, and creating video content
  • Performing media and digital monitoring
  • Contributing to communications for the entire studio
  • Participating in the organization of external events and supporting the organization of internal events
  • Coordinating the production of multimedia content (photos, videos, etc.) in order to enhance Gameloft Montreal’s brand image
  • Initiating and taking part in various projects (HR, employer brand, corporate culture)
  • Helping to mobilize teams as part of various projects that aim to drive the corporate brand
  • Handling all other related tasks

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, with experience in public relations or a related field
  • Excellent writing skills and advanced level in French and English
  • Good understanding of integrated communications
  • Ability to work in a team, ease in taking initiative, and a highly creative mind
  • Ability to support managers, to implement strategies, and to innovate
  • Knowledge of social media, especially LinkedIn
  • Ability to collaborate with Gameloft’s various business units
  • Thorough, with good people skills, organizational skills and sound judgment
  • Available for assignments that may take place outside of normal working hours (rare); for example, attending an industry event on a weekday evening or weekend
  • And above all, motivation and a desire to dedicate yourself to your work!
