Join our talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure! We're on the lookout for a passionate AI Programmer to contribute their skills to our Dungeons & Dragons® PC/Console project. This innovative game will blend the features of Action-RPG / Survival with unique elements of life-simulation games to redefine the genre and capture the imaginations of players worldwide.

The game is being developed by Gameloft Montreal, so you will collaborate mainly with this studio. Fluent English is required to communicate effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement AI systems for in-game characters, including pathfinding, decision-making, and tactical behaviors
Collaborate with designers and other programmers to integrate AI into gameplay mechanics
Write efficient and maintainable code in C#
Continuously optimize and refine AI systems for performance and quality
Debug and troubleshoot AI-related issues
Contribute to the development of tools for AI creation and testing
Stay current with the latest developments and trends in AI within the gaming industry

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, game development, or a related field
Mastery of the English language
At least 6-8 years of proven experience in game programming, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects
Solid understanding of AI principles, such as state machines, behavior trees, and pathfinding algorithms
Strong proficiency in C# and experience with Unity
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Passion for games and an understanding of game design principles
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts
Experience with version control systems, such as Git

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multiplayer game development
Experience with console game development
