Role Overview
As Head of Asia Analytics, you will own the Asia analytics vision and lead a high-performing team focused on delivering player and business insights across EA’s Asia portfolio. You’ll collaborate closely with publishing teams and studios to ensure that data informs decision-making from game design to go-to-market strategies. You will play a pivotal role in influencing senior executives across the organisation with compelling, data-driven insights that support EA’s growth, innovation, and player engagement throughout Asia. You will show discernment on what insights are worth sharing built off a deep understanding the vision and objectives of the Asia Publishing strategy.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor a regional team of analysts, data scientists and data engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
Develop and execute a comprehensive Asia analytics strategy aligned to an Asia Publishing Vision and objectives
Partner closely with senior executives across Asia and globally to present actionable insights that inform product strategy, marketing, live services, and new market entry
Collaborate cross-functionally with Franchise Leads, Marketing, New Business teams, Global Strategy and Consumer Insights to define KPIs, identify opportunities, and deliver insight driven impact
Oversee telemetry and tracking design for product and player, and provide predictive insights on game performance and player behaviour across franchises and markets
Drive experimentation through A/B testing, player segmentation, behavioral analysis, and monetization studies
Create and maintain robust dashboards and reporting tools for key stakeholders that enhance ‘self-serve’ usage by peers
Work closely with global analytics and engineering teams to improve data infrastructure, toolsets, and analytics capabilities
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in analytics or data science, including 2+ years in a leadership or director-level role
Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive strategic decisions with data insights
Strong SQL skills and proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
Experience with Python or R for data analysis, modeling, or workflow automation.
Deep understanding of gaming KPIs, including DAU/MAU, retention, monetization (ARPU, LTV), and churn
Familiarity with the Asia gaming market, including regional player behaviors, business models, and distribution strategies
Experience working in or with game development or live service teams
Nice-to-Have
Experience with game analytics platforms (e.g., GameAnalytics, Unity Analytics, DeltaDNA).
Background in machine learning or predictive modeling (e.g., churn, player segmentation).
Exposure to free-to-play and live service games, particularly in Asia-Pacific regions.
