The Frostbite Quality Engineering Team

We at Frostbite Quality Engineering are a diverse team made up of experts in system testing, automation infrastructure and quality-related data. We collaborate with our game team partners and other parts of Frostbite to maximise engine quality and reduce upgrade cost. As a Development Manager in our team, you will build relationships, often across departments, and will improve our project delivery practices. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the rollout and maintenance of Frostbite-wide quality policies.

  • Manage updates and communication with our partners, identifying risks and dependencies.

  • Support processes for planning, delivery tracking and data integrity in the Quality Engineering team.

  • Align with the wider Frostbite organisation to enhance program management practices and increase predictability.

  • Collaborate with engineering managers, technical leaders, other development directors and program managers.

  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion and maintain an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Experience:

  • You have 3+ years of project and program management experience.

  • You have experience with project management methodologies like Agile, SAFe, or Waterfall, including project planning, dependencies and risk management.

  • You establish close relationships with partners and ensure transparency across all levels of an organization.

  • You have driven change in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

  • You have experience with distributed development across multiple locations.

  • You are knowledgeable about software quality processes, software testing methodologies.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
