The Events Specialist will support the planning and execution of media previews, marketing events, and consumer trade shows for Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. As a marquee presence at Summer Game Fest, Anime Expo, San Diego Comic Con, Evo, PAX West, and New York Comic Con, Bandai Namco has become known by our fans for creating experiences that connect them to their favorite brands in ways only a live event can. As a member of the Events team the Events Specialist will focus on being part of team that brings all our activations to life.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the planning and execution of a broad range of small-scale events and support of large-scale events.
Coordinate logistical elements, including venue selection, attendee management, materials shipping, booth set up, and event schedules.
Prepares and monitors budget by collecting invoices from vendors, creating and receiving POs, and tracking expenses.
Prepare evaluative reports to track project status, KPIs, and optimization of future events.
Support internal/external teams on implementation across multiple brands (including logistics, onsite management, vendor management, and reconciliation, postmortems).
Support event strategy as directed by key stakeholders.
Facilitate external partnerships with event vendors, production teams, events, organizers, venue vendors, streaming platforms, and other event related organizations.
Support the creation and distribution of event marketing materials, including digital content promotional items, signage, and print materials.
Support the operations for events including installing builds for all game platforms, event inventories, and travel arrangements for internal staff and international guests.
Support onsite staff requirements and schedules.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in assisting in the end-to-end planning and execution of various events, including trade shows, industry events, and other brand events.
Full proficiency in MS Office.
Strong interest in pop culture and the video game industry. You play games!
Ability to work with key internal stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
Experience working with international teams and multicultural environments.
Ability to produce creative ideas.
You have the ability to travel domestically and internationally and work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends (up to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications

Have an interest in Anime and Bandai Namco games

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably.
Must be able to stand for more than 4 hours at a time.

$72,000.00 – $88,000.00

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
