Lies of P director confirms plans for a sequel and reveals DLC details
Lies of P game director Ji Won Choi has revealed that developer Neowiz has plans to work on a sequel to the successful Souls-like while giving fans a first look at its upcoming DLC.
The details:
Choi thanked fans for helping the title reach one million sales in a new Director's Letter video and provided an update on Neowiz's current projects, including plans for a sequel. "Our highest priority is developing the DLC and working on our sequel," Choi said. "The dev team is putting in significant effort, brainstorming, and exploring different aspects of the projects."
Although talk of a sequel ends there, the director goes on to show two screenshots of the upcoming DLC, one of which shows a shipwreck and the other a mysterious facility. “A lot awaits to unfold in the DLC,” Choi said. “Let your imagination go wild and anticipate what’s to come.”
Choi also revealed that a patch for the base game will be released later this month, with major gameplay changes such as weapon and difficulty balance, the Rising Dodge skill being enabled by default, and the ability to wear hats and glasses cosmetics separately.
