Digital Artist Showcases Impressive Body Morphing 3D Models
James Busby, a digital artist and the CEO/Founder of 3D Scan Store, has showcased an impressive weight gain/loss morph using his morphable base mesh. The innovation highlights the incredible capabilities of 3D modeling and scanning technology.
These models, available in various formats such as OBJ, FBX, and ZTL, are compatible with leading 3D software packages like Blender, Maya, and 3D Studio Max. What sets Busby's creations apart is the attention to detail, with accurate anatomical features, including intricate face, hand, and feet geometry, all derived from 3D scans.
These versatile models provide a perfect starting point for character creation, allowing users to adjust size and weight effortlessly before diving into the finer sculpting details. Each base mesh is complemented by 16k color maps and a full set of secondary control maps, including specularity, roughness, normal, and cavity maps, making them a complete resource for rendering.
Additionally, Busby includes a Marmoset Toolbag 4 render scene for each model, complete with shaders and lighting setups, simplifying the rendering process and empowering artists with a comprehensive toolkit for their creative projects.
