Finnish artist and designer Juhana Myllys, along with Taiwanese indie game studio Psychoflow, presents "Bionic Bay," an exciting sci-fi indie game that offers players a unique and captivating experience.

The game's storyline revolves around a scientist who escapes from reality using a one-of-a-kind teleportation instrument, only to find themselves in an ancient biomechanical world. This mysterious world is filled with imaginative technology, deadly traps, and hidden secrets, setting the stage for an intriguing adventure.

What sets "Bionic Bay" apart is its innovative swap mechanism that changes the way players interact with their surroundings. This tool can be used for movement, defense, and even attacking, providing a fresh and engaging approach to gameplay.

In the game, players will explore an ancient biomechanical world with its imaginative devices, mysterious technology, and peculiar inhabitants, creating a rich and immersive environment.

Notably, "Bionic Bay" boasts an extremely physics-based gameplay, where both the environments and the protagonist are subject to the laws of physics. As a result, players will witness environments burning, breaking, freezing, exploding, and vaporizing, adding a dynamic and unpredictable element to the game.

The development of "Bionic Bay" involves two independent companies. Juhana Myllys, known for his work on indie hits like "Badland" and "Badland 2," is responsible for the game's art and design. On the other hand, Psychoflow Studio, a Taiwanese indie game studio comprising of two programmers, handles the technical aspects of the game.

Bionic Bay is set to be released in 2024, you can follow the game developments on Twitter here and wishlist on Steam here.
