Editing software can make some of the most mundane esports moments seem like a montage of the greats. Maybe you've had experience putting together trailers or commercials in the past and now you're setting your sights on esports.

Sparkd Studios is looking for a freelance video editor candidate to work with our creatives. Our projects are varied, from commercials to documentaries, so we are looking for someone that has a style they specialize in but can be flexible to learn or adapt to other needs per the creative of a project.

Looking for a freelance remote editor, project based
Ideally located in the US, as timezones can be tricky, but open to all locations for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities

Editor, work with team creatives and director to bring together a vision from storyboard to final edit.
Edit various media projects and parallel deliverables
Maintain organized files structures, ready to sharing and distribution at any given time to other team members

Requirements

Experience with various video editing programs & software
Provide either a Highlight Reel of past work, or a portfolio with links to past work
Able to meet deadlines and able to work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires collaboration and great communication to keep a project moving along.

Bonus

Past experience with narrative pieces or with comedic pieces
Sound editing skills preferred
Has a specific style they are very good at, but are flexible to try and learn other styles. E.g. "Excellent with comedic edits, mild experience with documentaries/narrative scripted edits"
