As a Technical Program Manager in the User Connections Team you will drive a company-wide project around video capture, serving, and playback, developer APIs, developer content systems, content sharing, and user-facing applications focused on engagement. You will dig into the details in all of these areas to help find critical unknowns and help drive solutions to them, while also interfacing with senior leaders to ensure that every involved team is building towards the aligned long-view products for our user and developer base and our company.

You have:

  • An infrastructure program leader with strong engineering background and 5+ years' experience in building large scale systems

  • A domain expert with 5+ years of software engineer, system engineer or technical program/product management experience

  • Experienced with establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and demonstrated critical thinking

  • Experienced with delivering end to end technical programs

  • Able to work effectively in a fast pace environment with competing resources and priorities

  • Data driven strategic thinker who is capable of conveying ideas through detailed specs

  • Knowledgeable about user needs, scoping, planning, execution and delivery

  • An outstanding communicator both technical and program

  • A problem solver who developed relationships with partner teams

  • A self-starter with high degree of self-direction and independent drive

You will:

  • Define large programs, collect user requirements and drive engineering teams to plan and ship large scale systems

  • Align senior leadership and key stakeholders around program roadmap

  • Manage cross-functional programs

  • Prioritize projects based on impact to Roblox and users with data driven approaches

  • Unblock teams and enable them to stay focused on top priorities

  • Provide reliable project management during all project phases

  • Manage dependencies between teams and components

  • Own measurement of success of programs

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$221,960—$271,910 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
