Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a localized Japan marketing plan, with a focus on outreach, including social media, public relations, influencer marketing, and earned media to grow brand visibility and cultural relevance.
Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) marketing campaigns tailored to the Japanese market.
Collaborate closely with the local Japan team, that includes the Japan Country Manager and Key Account Manager to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
Work in tandem with the regional HQ team in Singapore and global teams to localize campaign assets and messaging while ensuring consistency with global brand direction
Provide strategic inputs on both online and offline retail channels to propel revenue growth and positive market share gains
Manage external agencies, influencers, distributors and media partners to drive impactful campaigns and outreach efforts.
Lead esports marketing initiatives, including the management of our signed esports team, to maximize exposure, drive engagement, and ensure alignment with brand values and campaign goals.
Build relationships with local gaming communities, streamers, and tournament organizers to strengthen brand affinity and visibility.
Plan and execute grassroots and community-driven programs to foster a loyal and active Razer fan base in Japan.
Track and analyze campaign performance, generate insights, and report regularly on marketing KPIs and outcomes versus targets.
Oversee the Japan marketing budget, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to maximize ROI.
Represent Razer at local industry events, tradeshows, esports tournaments, and gaming activations as needed.
Continuously monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to inform local marketing strategy.
