Job Responsibilities :
Razer Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager Razer Gold, South Asia focusing on key markets India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal. This strategic role will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering key relationships, partnership and managing a lean team, reporting directly to the Head of Razer Gold, SEA & APAC South.
This position requires a leader who is a self-directed, adaptable individual, who can work under pressure, along with proven experience working on complex, regional, time-critical projects. Willingness to travel 30% of the time within India domestic markets and South Asia to grow existing and new business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The person will lead and supervise direct reporting team for Business Development, B2B Sales, and B2C Marketing.
- Building great alliances with Global BD Team, Global Marketing Team, Global Product Team, Global Engineering and Global Operations Team to drive Razer Gold South Asia business expansion.
- P/L responsibilities with sales and revenue target ownership for Razer Gold in South Asia.
- Formulate and implement an B2B reseller account penetration, management and growth plan that maximizes sales and profits on monthly, quarterly, and annually basis.
- B2C marketing plans and strategies to promote digital content on gold.razer.com, driving external traffic to website and driving incremental ARPU.
- Work together with local gaming community groups to drive Razer Gold brand awareness and build new customer bases to push B2C TPV and NR.
- Crossover marketing collaboration with Razer Inc. hardware team to synergize campaign effectiveness by leveraging on Razer global branding strength.Β Β
- Identify business opportunities and work with Product Development team to develop product requirement specifications to capture the business opportunities.
- Responsible for channel relationships and the opening of channels to drive distribution for Razer Gold.
- New gaming and digital content sourcing and acquisition to improve upselling opportunities to B2B resellers and B2C gamers.
- Oversee the business, marketing, and operations team for Razer Gold in South Asia and work closely with back-office support teams.
- Collect and analyze revenue and partnership data related to partner accounts to be presented regularly to Management.
- Negotiate agreements with clients and manage, review, and renew such agreements as required to maximize business interests for Razer.
- Working with Compliance team to make sure our product is complied with required regulations
- OKR Management and active review and initiate conversation with reporting teamΒ
- AI adoption in business planning, market research and lead generation. Leadership by example to ensure reporting team members also adopting AI technologies in day-to-day work.Β
Pre-Requisites :
Requirements
- Qualifying degree with 8+ years of experience in the online gaming/digital content/ gift cards (POSA) or payment service industry.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience and successful track record in managing a team of more than 5 people.
- Owned and maintained P/L responsibilities for more than 5 years in an online content business.
- Experience in establishing new business entities, navigating incorporation requirements, and coordinating with local legal, tax, and regulatory stakeholders would be an advantage, particularly in supporting commercial decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Demonstrate experience with a successful track record in managing B2B reseller relationship and gaming merchant accounts.
- Building new and extensive business relationships and driving incremental revenues via local payment channels i.e., UPI, Paytm, PhonePe, Net Banking, and Visa/Mastercard.
- Exceptional understanding of console, PC and mobile game content development processes, pipelines, workflows, and tools.
- Good analytical skills, capable of doing in-depth analysis, to provide business insights and develop strategic to counterchallenges and grow new business.
- Experience in collaborating with international partners and multi-countries partnerships surely added advantages.
- Experience of managing a diverse set of stakeholders on global level.
- High appetite for closing deals, smashing targets, and great PR skills.
