KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Merchant Acquiring and Sales
β’ Identify, pursue, and onboard enterprise-level merchants with complex acquiring and settlement requirements.
β’ Manage the full acquiring sales cycle, including prospecting, solution design, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
β’ Work closely with Product and Technology teams to customize acquiring capabilities such as routing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
β’ Coordinate with Operations teams to manage merchant submission, onboarding, and post-go-live support.
β’ Consolidate merchant requirements and develop business cases for acquiring product or service enhancements.
β’ Manage delivery timelines to ensure solutions meet agreed milestones and service levels.
Pricing Strategy and Commercial Submissions
β’ Develop and present merchant acquiring pricing models that balance competitiveness and business profitability.
β’ Analyze transaction volumes, merchant categories, and payment mix to optimize MDR and fee structures.
β’ Partner with Finance and Product teams to ensure pricing accuracy, scalability, and billability.
β’ Work closely with onboarding and operations teams to ensure enterprise merchant profiles are set up accurately and on time.
Contractual and Risk Management
β’ Review, interpret, and negotiate acquiring agreements with enterprise merchants and partners.
β’ Ensure timely execution of contracts and follow-up on commercial and operational obligations.
β’ Work closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to manage regulatory and operational risk.
Merchant Relationship and Support
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise acquiring merchants.
β’ Handle merchant inquiries and escalations in a timely, solution-oriented manner.
β’ Maintain strong merchant relationships through consistent service quality and responsiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Financial Technology, or a related field.
β’ Minimum 6 years of experience in merchant acquiring, payments, fintech, or financial services.
β’ Strong understanding of acquiring flows, settlement, chargebacks, fraud management, and scheme rules.
β’ Experience supporting large enterprise merchants across e-commerce, in-store, and omni-channel environments.
β’ Proven ability to structure MDR-based pricing and close complex enterprise acquiring deals.
β’ Experience reviewing and managing commercial and acquiring contracts.
β’ Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Highly organized, responsive, and merchant-focused.
β’ Comfortable working in cross-functional team environments.
β’ Self-driven, results-oriented, and aligned with management direction.
