Poste - Stagiaire Programmeur·euse Jouabilité

Nous recherchons un·e Stagiaire Programmeur·euse Jouabilité pour rejoindre notre studio. Vous ferez partie de l'équipe de développement en partenariat avec l'équipe de conception du jeu. Vous serez responsable d'un système de gameplay et veillerez à ce que la mise en œuvre réponde aux exigences techniques et de conception. Au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire, vous serez exposé·e à la conception technique et à la mise en œuvre d'un système de gameplay, en veillant à ce que les exigences de conception et de réalisation soient respectées et à ce que des expériences passionnantes soient offertes aux joueurs.

Le·a Stagiaire Programmeur·euse Jouabilité relèvera du Gestionnaire de Programme Technique.

Responsabilités et tâches

  • Livrer un système / une fonctionnalitĂ© de haute qualitĂ© qui rĂ©pond aux exigences de conception et aux exigences techniques.

  • Optimiser et dĂ©boguer le code pour assurer la performance et la qualitĂ© technique.

  • Promouvoir et suivre les meilleures pratiques de programmation et les normes de codage, construire des technologies et un code durables, performants et maintenables.

  • Participer Ă  l'Ă©laboration des documents de conception technique, Ă  la clarification des exigences, Ă  la dĂ©finition des tâches et Ă  l'examen du code par les pairs.

  • Planifier efficacement le travail et fournir des mises Ă  jour rĂ©alistes sur l'avancement des travaux aux responsables.

  • Identifier de manière proactive les risques et crĂ©er des solutions innovantes pour attĂ©nuer leur impact sur le jeu.

Qualifications recherchées

  • MaĂ®trise du langage C++ avec une bonne connaissance des principes de dĂ©veloppement orientĂ© objet.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  dĂ©boguer et Ă  optimiser Ă  la fois Ă  bas et Ă  haut niveau.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  communiquer efficacement avec tous les membres de l'Ă©quipe de dĂ©veloppement.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  organiser et Ă  hiĂ©rarchiser son propre travail.

  • CapacitĂ© d'analyse et de rĂ©solution de problèmes.

Qualifications souhaitées

  • IntĂ©rĂŞt pour la conception et la mise en Ĺ“uvre de divers systèmes de jeu (Al, rĂ©seau en ligne, interface utilisateur, contrĂ´les des personnages, etc).

  • ComprĂ©hension des mĂ©canismes de jeu et des principes de conception.

Position – Gameplay Programmer Intern

We are looking for a Gameplay Programmer Intern to join the Haven Entertainment Studios project team. You will operate as part of the development team in partnership with the game design team. You will have ownership of a gameplay system and ensure that the implementation meets the technical and design requirements. As a Gameplay Programmer Intern, you will help clarify technical requirements and contribute to defining the development roadmap of a gameplay system. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be exposed to a gameplay system, technical design and implementation, ensuring design and realization requirements are met and exciting player experiences are delivered.

Reporting

The Gameplay Programmer Intern will report to the Technical Program Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver a high quality system / feature  that meet design and technical requirements.

  • Optimize and debug code to ensure performance and technical quality.

  • Promote and follow programming best practices and coding standards, build sustainable, performant and maintainable technologies and code.

  • Assist with technical design documents, requirements clarification, tasks definition and peer code-reviews.

  • Plan work effectively and provide realistic updates on progress to managers.

  • Proactively identify risks and create innovative solutions to mitigate their impact on the game.

Minimum Qualifications

  • C++ proficiency with a good knowledge of object-oriented development principles.

  • Ability to debug and optimize both at both low and high level.

  • Ability to and communicate effectively with all members of the development team.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize your own work.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in the design and implementation of various game systems (Al, Online network, User Interface, Character controls, etc).

  • Understanding of game mechanics and design principles.
