The Role:

As a Sr Sourcing Deputy, you will play a crucial role in executing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving

cost efficiencies. The focus will be on strategic sourcing and supplier management, including negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and market trends.

Your Contribution:

Market Intelligence and Insight:

Conduct thorough market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
Provide strategic insights to the leadership team based on market and supplier assessments.
Research and analyze the China market for Keyboards,Mouse,Headsets, etc., focusing on market differentiation in each product category.
Establish a database for efficient retrieval and study of market insights.
Set up the routine market intelligence alignment with BG.
Conduct supplier visits / surveys to assess local supplier capabilities and keep the information updated.
Maintain a comprehensive database for effective supplier evaluation and analysis.

Supplier & Sourcing Strategy development:

Scouting for ODM/JDM and Sub-Assy, Key component suppliers in China.
Develop a sufficient ODM / JDM supply base and formulate comprehensive supplier sourcing strategies for the China market
Leading cross functional teams to drive the supplier and sourcing strategy
Develop and Execute end-to-end sourcing processes, from supplier identification to contract negotiation and relationship management.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, and suppliers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in sourcing and supply chain management.

Cost and RFx Management:

Ensure RFx packages are ready with required info and Conduct RFx engagement with selected supplier candidates,
Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and all necessary details.
Able to conduct detailed cost analysis include bom review and should cost analysis
Cost Management including Launch at the best possible cost and continuous cost improvement after MP to assure YOY cost reduction, cost control, and cost containment targets are met.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

Develop and maintain relationships with Business Group (BG) for C4C business
Work as GSM window for C4C business across different product lines
Coordinate, bridge communication with C4C team (BG/Project/Eng) ,GSM (Component and FG) and MFG operation teams
Execute GSM’s C4C sourcing strategy with C4C product roadmap and development direction.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

Track record in FG sourcing and supplier management with good understanding of different manufacturing processes.
Proven experience in sourcing roles, with a focus on the China market and ODM/JDM business.
Good understanding of different product category and related manufacturing processes.
Strong experience and understanding of the global sourcing process and cost structure breakdown analysis
Strong negotiation skills and a successful track record of contract and supplier management.
Deep understanding of the PC industry, market trends, and supplier landscape.
Strong business sense and able to react fast to the market trends or customer requests.
Able to liaise with BG and JDM/ODM supplier for new business opportunities
Superior written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in
English/Mandarin are required
Data oriented with strong analytical skills
With Keyboards / Mice / Headsets / Speakers sourcing experience is a Plus.
With working experience in TOP EMS is a plus.
Must be Pro-active and Result Driven / Oriente
