We’re looking for a hands-on, execution-first Growth & Community Marketing Intern to help grow and activate our community across StoneHold and APB Reloaded. This role is for someone who ships weekly, runs experiments, and improves outcomes—not someone who only does messaging docs and vendor management.
What you’ll do (hands-on execution)
Growth experiments + UA
• Run small-budget daily tests ($200–$500/day) across TikTok/Meta/Google and creator boosts
• Track outcomes and iterate creative/audiences weekly
• Build a repeatable test → learn → scale loop
Streaming Creator pipeline
• Source and manage a lightweight creator program (smaller creators at scale + a few anchors)
• Outreach, brief, coordinate deliverables, track results, build a reusable roster
• Operate Steam Broadcast experiments (scheduling, titles, thumbnails, calls-to-action, clip extraction) and integrate learnings into the content pipeline.
Community ops (Discord)
• Run weekly engagement beats: play sessions, patch threads, Q&As, clip challenges, community events
• Build a tight feedback loop between community and dev team
Content engine
• Turn streams/gameplay into short-form clips daily (OpusClip/CapCut/Premiere workflows)
• Publish consistently across TikTok/Reels/Shorts/X/YouTube, with a simple calendar and reporting cadence
Email marketing support
• Assist with major updates using email lists
How we measure success (not vanity-first)
We care about meaningful demand + engaged community, not one metric in isolation:
• Activation quality (store → demo → login → repeat sessions)
• Community quality (Discord joins → participation → retention)
• Funnel health (conversion rates, not just raw counts)
• Cost efficiency (cost per activated player / cost per qualified community member) We still track Steam signals like wishlists/follows, but treat them as one input among many.
You’re a fit if you…
• Have a portfolio showing real execution (posts/clips/campaigns/community work)
• Can run lightweight paid tests and report learnings weekly
• Understand multiplayer audiences, creator culture, and community beats
• Are comfortable reporting directly to a CEO with clear weekly updates
Hiring process
1. Application + portfolio links
2. Practical test (60–90 minutes) (hooks, posts, creator outreach, KPI plan)
3. 30-min interview with CEO
4. Start
To apply: send portfolio links + a short note: (1) what channel you’d start with, (2) one week-1 experiment with a $300/day budget, (3) one Discord beat you’d run weekly
