As a Principal Architect, you will align to the industry Sales team developing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architectural solutions for strategic accounts. You will lead the conversation and direct the execution of the Business team. You will partner with Value Engineering in order to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business partnership with Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Build a relationship with strategic accounts and engage with Architects and executive-level stakeholders.

  • Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and effectively promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online.

  • Make recommendations to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.

  • Manage the enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, engineering, and more.

  • Identify customer priorities and technical objections, and design strategies to deliver business value and resolve blockers.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role.

  • Experience in cloud computing, cloud market, and dynamics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed cloud-based systems, with experience in gaming infrastructure, security, and application development.

  • Experience in gaming developer and publisher technology buying/evaluation processes.

  • Knowledge of game industry business models, business case creation, and product management lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to quickly understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in cloud and gaming technology spaces.

  • Ability to deliver results, work cross-functionally, engage/influence audiences, and identify expansion engagements.

  • Ability to communicate in Korean fluently, as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.
