What we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated Senior Game Designer specializing in the creation of playable characters and their special abilities, with significant experience in video game production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design character special abilities for a multiplayer game, as well as their progression paths, in collaboration with the creative direction and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Be responsible for a robust implementation in the engine (use of blueprints, proprietary tools, etc.)
  • Maintain a fruitful collaboration with all departments involved in the game's design and provide clear instructions and feedback while cultivating a collaborative work environment where members feel valued and supported.
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of new recruits.
  • Contribute to maintaining the design department's standards and be a positive influence within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 years of experience with at least one published title on which the candidate has worked from concept to delivery.
  • Professional experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • In-depth understanding of modern AAA action games and production best practices
