As a Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating and supporting a wide range of visual assets that bring game concepts to life. This role requires a highly adaptable individual who can work across different art styles, asset types, and game engines while collaborating closely with designers and developers to deliver engaging player experiences.

Job Description

Create and implement a wide range of game assets, including characters, environments, props, UI, and visual effects
Adapt to different art styles and project requirements across various game concepts
Collaborate closely with designers and developers to integrate assets into game engines
Support rapid prototyping by producing quick concepts and placeholder assets
Optimize assets for performance and cross-platform compatibility
Assist in setting up materials, textures, and basic animations within game engines
Iterate quickly based on gameplay, technical, and artistic feedback while contributing to continuous improvement of art pipelines and workflows

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field (final-year students with relevant game art internship experience are welcome to apply)
Strong portfolio showcasing versatility across various art styles and asset types
Experience in creating 2D and/or 3D game assets
Proficient in several art tools (e.g., Photoshop, Blender, Maya) and familiar with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, workflows, and production pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
Willing to work under 6-months independent contractor contract and able to go on full WFO arrangement in South Jakarta office
