Job Purpose

Taking part in discussing ecosystems, opportunities and strategies with partners while supervising & coordinating partnership projects with relevant departments to help ensure the company's targets.

  • Responsible for supervising & coordinating the assigned projects (including but not limited to general operation services, business opportunities, visibility with partners, placement of our catalog in stores, etc) to ensure global delivery of all agreed commitments of the utmost quality.
  • Be the owner in front of all relevant department heads & managers in regards to all assigned responsibilities and projects.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Project Management & Support:

  • Regularly and proactively working with all needed departments (including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Operations, Production, etc) about their status on current projects assigned to the Business Operation Manager (BOM) to give necessary instructions or support to anticipate, prevent problems or find out solutions, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and respecting the platform/contract needs.
  • Actively reviewing the results of the diverse projects assigned to determine their impact on the company’s targets. Propose courses of action to relevant managers in order to ensure that all work done by the different departments towards these goals is optimized and profitable.
  • Being the lead in front of our partners’ contacts in all Business Operations regarding all projects assigned. This includes but is not limited to perfect and clear communication, always keeping in mind Gameloft’s needs and targets.
  • Having an innovative approach while proposing potential business opportunities & strategies to management. Be analytical to understand the partners’ ecosystems and Gameloft's infrastructure to brainstorm these opportunities.
  • Ensuring efficiency on assigned projects and being able to provide instant feedback real time of their status once requested.
  • Be the contact person of all relevant involved departments for centralizing and providing status of any issues related to the assigned projects; actively giving feedbacks, communicating and negotiating with them to get all needed information and elements to ensure smooth progress for the assigned projects.

2. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Reporting actively and in a proactive manner to the VP Business Operations / Business Operation Director (if any) and other levels of management that the projects require.
  • Ensuring that all progress tracking file(s) used in the team (currently Trello, but this might change) are updated in real time.

Job Requirements

1. Knowledge:

  • Knowledge about strategies, priorities, ecosystems, products and procedures of partners for which projects were assigned.
  • Knowledge of Gameloft’s game development ecosystem, tools, servers, etc and how they work.
  • Understanding of the gaming industry, its goals and future. Be self-informed about its status and developments.

2. Skills:

  • Service oriented:
    • Able to satisfy the needs of the VP Business Operations / Business Operation Director (if any) and all other involved management to offer the best possible services to deliver the coordinated projects in an optimal manner.
    • Be able to place oneself in someone else’s shoes to understand the real needs that clients might have.
  • Communication skill:
    • Fact and metric oriented when explaining project constraints, status, results, etc.
    • Diplomatic and flexible when negotiating with partners and internal teams.
  • Organization skill:
    • Able to document new topics and procedures when needed.
    • Able to efficiently allocate the needed time to each project to not easily become overwhelmed.
    • Able to provide real time statuses.
  • Leadership:
    • Inspire all coordinated departments to deliver the projects in the highest possible quality and clarity.
  • Decision making:
    • Act with integrity and always based on facts/metrics.
    • Flexible but assertive in making decision to solve problems.
    • Able to formulate solutions to problems and even potential strategies and to share them with the respective managers.
  • Independence:
    • Able to sufficiently handle all assigned projects in an effective and efficient manner by oneself without constantly requiring validations from higher management
