Junior PR & Community Manager – PC/Console Narrative-Adventure Game

Friday Sundae is an independent game studio based in Central Bristol. We're currently developing an ambitious and original haunted-house narrative-adventure game for PC and Consoles.
We’re looking for a Junior PR & Community Manager to join our team full-time and help grow a global audience for our game and studio.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate ready to take ownership of community and PR support in a growing indie studio. You’ll manage our public-facing channels, support press and influencer campaigns, nurture our online community, and help shape the studio’s tone of voice as we prepare for launch and beyond.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing and growing our Discord server and social media accounts (Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
Planning, writing, and producimg engaging video, written & graphic content for social channels
Supporting outreach to press, media, and influencers, including tracking coverage
Monitoring community engagement and helping to maintain a safe, welcoming online environment
Responding to player feedback, questions, and fan content
Assisting with PR campaigns, announcements, and behind-the-scenes storytelling
Collaborating with the game team to highlight milestones and creative progress
What You’ll Bring
A degree in marketing, communications, media, game design, or a related field
Strong skills in creating and editing video content for social channels using latest software
Able to prepare and resize graphics for banners, releases and other social artwork required
Experience managing social media or online communities (including Discord)
Good organisational skills, reliability, and willingness to take initiative
A passion for indie games and engaging with players directly
Bonus Points
Experience moderating or launching an online community
Understanding of games PR, influencer marketing, or social campaign planning
Awareness of inclusive and safe community practices
