As User Acquisition Director, you will report to the business head and lead a team of product marketers, creatives, comms, UA managers and analysts to drive growth marketing across our slate. You will drive the strategy and execution of marketing and UA campaigns, manage the marketing budget for our games, empower your team to execute and leverage external agencies for additional support.
This is a hands-on role with large business impact. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and iterative environment that champions data and creativity in the pursuit of outcomes that engage our players and grow EA’s bottom line. This role entails a hybrid working arrangement and being extremely cross-functional to influence and drive outcomes across a functionally and geographically distributed team.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans to launch and grow our slate of 2nd party developed games worldwide, including UA, PMM, Creative and Develop and execute the vision and strategy to achieve PDG’s business targets through data-driven marketing and publishing across a variety of channels
Partner with and manage the Director of UA and UA managers, along with leveraging top agencies to effectively spend against paid marketing channels at profitable ROAS
Work with PDG’s Director of Performance & LiveOps as well as the individual Product Directors to drive acquisition, engagement and monetization across a portfolio of mobile titles
Build, manage, and mentor a team of world-class PMMs, UA Managers, Analysts, Creative and Comms Managers
Be the voice of marketing to our partner studios, communicating EA’s marketing plan for EA-published titles and guiding marketing for 2nd party developer teams for non-EA published titles.
Analyze the performance of all marketing programs (including ad spend) to identify the best opportunities for optimization, and regularly iterate to maximize performance
Partner cross-functionally with internal EA teams like Brand and MarCom to articulate and drive PDG’s marketing plans
Work with finance to plan and maintain marketing & advertising budget Required Skills/Personal Requirements:
Demonstrated passion for F2P, EA franchises, and gaming in general
Experience executing profitable paid UA campaigns and managing large marketing budgets to achieve positive ROAS
Experience managing a team of marketers and working with external agencies to further scale campaign execution
Experience launching successful campaigns using components of grassroots, viral and influencer marketing to supplement paid UA
Experience working with various 1st Party Platforms (Apple, Google) to secure featuring, deliver an attractive app storefront, and execute pre-registration Experience with appstore search optimization (ASO) also a plus.
Ability to opine on market trends in various mobile genres to help inform product decisions
Experience working with product managers and finance to forecast and deliver on revenue/KPI targets for a live game
Demonstrated effective leadership and people management experience
Other Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of full-stack marketing and senior leadership experience, ideally in gaming and/or technology products
Excellent communication, presentation and written skills in Proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese also a plus.

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $157,450 - $245,500
New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $154,950 - $245,500
New Jersey (depending on location e.g. Jersey City vs. Trenton): $154,950 - $245,500
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $154,950 - $223,350
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $154,950 - $223,350
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
