You will report to the Technical Director for Cliffhanger Studios Quality Engineering. Role is Seattle-based and open to hybrid or Remote (most North America locations).
What You Will Do:
Use your knowledge of software engineering concepts to implement tested, reusable, and modular code
Evaluate and present new technology to the team and help us look for opportunities for innovation
Create the right approach by understanding the technical needs of a solution, maintainability, scalability and help us deliver value to the business
Understand the reason behind the requirements of the business to find creative solutions
Take ownership of technical design and implementation for a set of features
Demonstrate ownership over your work, through your communication, by delivering quality and consistency
Monitor tools usage, performance and resolve any failures
Mentor other software developers
Learn and add to the team's collective knowledge base
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or Software Engineering or equivalent
5 years of industry technical experience working on tools, test automation and development process improvements
Experience with Gaming Engines and toolsets
Experience with .NET, C#, and C++
Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB
Familiarity with cloud development like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience building platform-grade tools and services
Experience mentoring peers, and delivering technical presentations
Experience creating system-level technical design and documentation
Knowledge of the software life-cycle, modern testing methods and good understanding of continuous integration
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $114,200 - $166,200
New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): º $99,900 - $166,200
Jersey City, NJ: º $131,600 - $168,400
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): º $99,900 - $141,800
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $99,900 - $168,400
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity."
