What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to the development of client-side features 
  • Be part of implementing gameplay systems, UI logic, and player-facing features in collaboration with other developers, design and art teams
  • Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate live features, events, and data-driven systems
  • Support live operations by investigating and fixing player issues
  • Grow your understanding of the gaming industry and how games are built and maintained

Who You Are:

  • Technical Foundations

    • You understand programming fundamentals (e.g. object-oriented principles, data structures, basic algorithms).

    • You have experience with C#, C++, or a similar programming language (Unity experience useful).

    • You have an interest in writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.

  • Understanding of Game & Mobile Development

    • You are interested and curious about how you build gameplay systems

    • You have a basic understanding of how client-server systems work

    • You are aware that mobile development requires attention to performance and different devices, and you want to learn more.

  • Problem Solving & Growth Mindset

    • You are keen to learn from experienced engineers, welcoming feedback as an opportunity to improve.

  • Teamwork & Communication

    • You enjoy working with others, value diverse perspectives, and communicate openly and supportively.

Eligibility:

  • You are enrolled at university or education with a planned internship period.
  • You are available to commence a full-time 12-month placement in September 2026.
  • You are eligible to work in Finland without additional visa or relocation support.
