We are looking for Senior Manager of Game Creation Operations to join our Game Development & Infrastructure Services (GDIS) team. You will report to the Director of Game Creation Operations. You will be responsible for managing the service and operations globally for applications, products, solutions, and tooling used in game development. Your primary focus will be to drive operational excellence, define roadmaps, and ensuring customer and partner satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team that supports game development services & products globally

  • Serve as the escalation point for all related products, technologies, and services

  • Manage projects, products, processes, and service improvements - Develop processes to measure the performance of staff, operations, technology, and services

  • Deliver operational and management metrics to monitor and measure established goals, processes, technology, and services - Oversee the design and implementation of product processes, services, and strategies

  • Foster regular communication with business partners and leadership to capture business requirements and new demand

  • Provide DevOps oversight to drive maturity and capability improvement in the development, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines

  • Champion continuous service improvement and achieve application availability and reliability goals for the Game Creation Platform

  • Deploy incident and problem management processes and procedures in partnership with IT's Central Operations team - Develop and progress service and operation roadmaps for game creation platform products

  • Manage budgeting and proposal efforts for projects

  • Provide direction, coaching, and guidance to the team

  • Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technology management position

  • Proven track record of leading teams, projects, and managing infrastructure

  • Experience providing customer-centric support for a 24x7 global, complex, large-scale enterprise application platforms

  • Deep understanding of software development life cycle, source control management, and related best practices

  • Experience with Site Reliability, DevOps, and operational standards, policies, and frameworks

  • Experience supporting cloud-based architectures, applications, APIs, and web services

  • We have a preference for those who have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field + previous software development experience in gaming, media, or entertainment

  • Experience in rapidly changing collaborative organizations

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $131,600 - $213,300

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): º $131,600 - $213,300

  • Jersey City, NJ: º $154,800 - $213,300

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): º $131,600 - $179,600

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $131,600 - $195,200

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
