Senior Engineer - NextJS

You will work as a Senior UI Developer and develop scalable Web applications for millions of players worldwide. You will apply the latest technologies to implement modern, sleek applications. You would also work with Scrum masters and Product managers and partners to deliver the product features.

Location & work model: This is a hybrid role with 3 day presence at office in Hyderabad, India

What you'll do:

• You'll partner with Product managers, leads and other developers to create scalable and efficient product features to improve overall experiences for EA Fans.
• You'll implement high-volume, low-latency UI applications using React, NextJS, Tailwind, or Bootstrap on typescript
• You'll build Frontend design and integrations including unit tests, mutations and documentations.
• You'll be responsible for code quality and efficiency including unit tests.
• You'll have to collaborate with the best designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, and architects.
• You'll report to the Senior Director of Engineering

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithmic solutions.
• Overall 5+ years of experience working in front end technologies like NextJS, React or Angular along with advanced CSS technologies like SCSS with frameworks like Tailwind, Bootstrap.
• JavaScript programming experience with knowledge of advanced JavaScript concepts like compilation, webpack, bundling, and TypeScript.
• Be a programming generalist to debug and write code.
• Have Polyglot programming capabilities

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5 or more years of experience developing web applications with front end technologies like NextJS, React, along with advanced CSS technologies like SCSS and frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap.
• Apply Design patterns, scalable architectures, GIT, and Clean Code conventions.
• Hands-on experience in NodeJS and Micro-frontend architecture.
• Learn from other experienced developers, designers and architects.
• Have a good eye for clean design and intuitive user interactions
