High-level role description
As the Sr Development Engineering Manager, you will have the autonomy to led the operational transformation and best practices of a all quality engineering teams in the business unit. You will use your expertise in process, enablement, financial, gap analysis through industry standard methodologies and can speak to a strong business impact of transformation, always with the player experience first and foremost in mind. You will report to the head of MAROWS, skip level to the VP of Quality verification for EA.
You will be the key strategic thinker of the organization that will provide mentorship as you motivate your team to grow to the best of their abilities. You will work with partners across EA to find ways to improve the Quality Engineering team's operational effectiveness by analyzing business practices and proposing solutions or improvements to existing problems or processes by applying the great talent we have throughout the organization. This role is open to remote work.
Responsibilities:
Identifies, proposes and drives strategic change initiatives across an entire business unit. Partners with Execs and senior leaders across disciplines on change management
Manages and drives a single program made of multiple studio projects to drive towards a multi year vision
Manage relationships with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to SEs on the ground and VPs of the company
Foster and develop a group of teams who constantly takes new challenges and responsibilities while delivering on existing commitments
Help the team break down complex problems and ensure the right operational structure cross team is put in place to successfully deliver
Mastery of the analytical process to ensure decisions made have the best chance of success
Qualifications:
5+ years project management in a project or equivalent role
13+ years experience in a leadership/management role
10+ years of experience managing people, including managing managers
6+ years experience in software development operation management
2+ years of experience developing internal technologies at enterprise scale
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

$178,100 - $271,700
New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
$166,700 - $271,700
Jersey City, NJ:
$201,800 - $271,700
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
$166,700 - $227,900
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
$166,700 - $258,200
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
