The Strategy team works with EA’s executive leadership team in shaping strategies to increase growth and new ideas across the company, including staying ahead of tech and games industry trends and evaluating strategic partnership opportunities. You will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Strategy and be based in Redwood Shores.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • You will work with Strategy and our leadership teams to evaluate important consumer, technology, and market changes to identify the latest trends and new growth drivers for EA.

  • You will support high-visibility, growth strategy projects through conducting strategic analysis using a hypothesis-driven approach and summarizing conclusions to be presented to internal leaders

  • You will assess potential strategic partnerships and investment opportunities for us.

  • You will assess our performance in the market in comparison to the other gaming companies, including maintaining a pulse on existing / new competitors and conducting deep-dive competitive assessments

  • You will explore competitive and industry dynamics across gaming, tech, media, and entertainment industries and assess drivers to improve our relative position in the marketplace

Skills / Requirements:

  • BS/BA in economics, business, accounting computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related degree required

  • 3+ years of management consulting, investment banking, or strategy team at a fast-growth technology company

  • Experience solving problems and answering complex business questions

  • You can work in an evolving and undefined environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint required

  • Excellent business writing and verbal communications, including delivery of presentations to senior leaders

  • Interest in the games, media, technology, and entertainment industries

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $95,450 - $141,800

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $89,200 - $141,800

  • Jersey City, NJ : $105,250 - $141,800

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $89,200 - $118,550

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $89,200 - $130,750

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
