Want to create great experiences for our players?

In EA's Worldwide Customer Experience (WWCE) team, we help our players wherever they are, whenever they need, get the most from their games. We aim to make EA known for taking care of its players.

And we'd like you to join us. We're hiring a Publishing and Content Management Specialist.

As a Publishing and Content Management Specialist, you’ll join the WWCE Publishing & Optimization team and report to the Manager, Publishing. This is the technical side of content creation and offers an opportunity to directly impact the delivery and quality of help content across EA's digital help channels. You’ll support the creative teams who write our content by managing that content in the backend, making decisions about layout, and putting those decisions into action by publishing the content on our help website.

You’ll also be responsible for publishing alert messaging to address urgent issues affecting players and the EA Advisors who support them so we ask that you are available to provide occasional on-call support.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll work within multiple content management systems (CMS) to publish and manage content for our knowledge base, and digital help sites.

  • You’ll publish, maintain, and surface help content for our players and EA Advisors. Your goal will be to make it easy to find, easy to use, and relevant to the product life cycle and business goals.

  • You will write and configure alert messaging in response to temporary issues, and provide on-call support for urgent incidents.

  • You’ll review content before publishing to correct any errors and find opportunities for improvement. You will also perform peer reviews to help maintain the highest quality.

  • Your success will be dependent on your ability to maintain strong and healthy relationships with the team and other stakeholders. Because you’ll work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in different time zones communication and documentation will be especially important.

  • You’ll work with our localization team to translate content for our global sites.

  • You will analyze data and derive insights about the success of our content. You’ll create regular reports to track whether we're meeting our goals and be expected to present those reports on occasion.

  • You’ll be expected to manage your own workload to meet your publishing deadlines.

  • You’ll find and report bugs and request feature enhancements to improve the Advisor, Player, and Publisher experiences.

Qualifications:

  • You have 2+ years of professional experience in digital content management or web publishing, or you are a college graduate with a background in a business or technical field.

  • You have 1+ years of experience with web publishing using Salesforce Lightning or a content management system (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Wordpress, Contentful, Drupal, or a similar tool.

  • You have experience using Jira or JaaS to manage your workload.

  • You possess strong time management skills and can meet weekly deadlines.

  • You possess personal and leadership management skills like setting priorities and mentoring/directing others.

  • You have excellent English-language reading and writing skills.

  • You’re comfortable with the Google Drive Suite (Google docs and sheets).

  • You have a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

  • You have interest in or familiarity with web UX + UI best practices.

  • It’s a plus if you’re interested in the video gaming or digital/social gaming industry.
