We are starting a new team composed of a mixture of experienced employees of EA/EA SPORTS and new talent from across industries. Reporting to the Line Producer, we are looking for a Producer to lead the Metagame and Social pod.
Help manage the metagame and social roadmap which maps major feature and content deliverable to milestones
Work with the Sandbox team to ensure compelling integration of all metagame features, with a focus on layout, pacing, gating, and progression
Work with the Gameplay team to ensure that all metagame and social features best support our game’s core mechanics and moment-to-moment gameplay
Work with the Narrative and Brand teams to ensure that all metagame experiences support the game’s underlying lore, story, and central fantasy
Work with the game’s Live Service leads to ensure that the metagame and social features enhance the game’s post-launch expansion
Tune the balancing of all metagame features and economies based on focus testing, metrics, telemetry and other feedback
Work with Research teams to run player testing sessions during development
Balance priorities, and find creative solutions to achieve results
An experienced Producer with 10+ years of experience in game production, including a demonstrated experience working on a major AAA project and on a live service game
An accomplished mediator and resolver of conflicts
A love for working with a diverse group of people to accomplish something great as a team
You understand the importance of not falling in love with your ideas and use User testing to validate assumptions
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $134,250 - $202,100 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
