Hyderabad Controllership supporting North America & Asia is part of a CFO organisation and supports the regional controllership organisation with current team strength of 11 team members.

Main Goals of the Role

North America & Asia Controllership

  • Lead the NA and Asia HYD GL Team and ensure all the deliverables are meeting the Measurements. Work with the Regional Controllers in reviewing the indicators and implementing additional matrices.

  • Can manage and guide team in Fixed Assets, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Cash reconciliations, Payroll, VAT, leases, ICO and other GL activities. Be a Subject Matter Expert of [end to end] process]. Understand global processes?

  • Lead transitions, review resource allocation and bandwidth. Be a work with Global partners in identifying the road map for transitions to Finance Shared services – Hyderabad.

  • Identify understanding opportunities within the processes and improve efficiency, identify process improvement and automation opportunities and implement in the process.

  • You will review the High-Risk reconciliations and ensure that the reconciliation health is within the EA Reconciliation Guidelines/Policy

  • You will Participate the Global Alignment Projects and other Projects.

  • Role requires preparation and presentations in Monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet review process.

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Qualified Indian Chartered Accountant or US Certified Public Accountant

  • You have 12 years’ experience in finance and accounting department of an India-based subsidiary of US product or services MNC with at least 6 years of people management experience.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP, local auditing, tax, statutory & legal requirements.

  • Hands-on experience in technical accounting areas like leases, revenue accounting, derivatives in addition to regular General ledger activities

  • You will manage skills for bigger transitions in Controllership (accounting) from Departments to Shared services

  • Working knowledge of Oracle R12. Hyperion Financial Management, applications.

  • This role is a managerial role in the Hyderabad Finance team and hence you will lead in important plans relating to the Shared services including and not restricted to professional development of finance team, setting up BCP process
