What you will do as Localization Vendor Specialist at EA:

  • Review vendor pool to identify needs for recruitment, both regarding languages and service offer

  • Scout for and recruit new vendors for languages/services in need

  • Negotiate rates, terms and conditions with localization vendors worldwide

  • Maintain a structured approach to vendor relations focusing on profitability and benchmarking at an international level

  • Ensure quality of outsourced services (post-editing, translation, reviews) by applying necessary tools and performance indicators

  • Manage vendor relations for operational performance

  • Manage existing vendor partnerships

  • Analyze expenses per vendor to maximize opportunity for rate negotiation

The next EA Localization Vendor Specialist also needs:

  • Previous experience in managing vendors

  • Excellent written and oral English

  • Very good command of Microsoft Office

  • Experience with P&L, margins and Cost vs Billing

  • A customer-focused & teamwork-oriented mindset

  • A self-starting, willing to take ownership and proactive approach

  • Previous experience in the localization industry or studies in translation
