EA’s Marcom Design Team’s mission is to ignite the imaginations of players through world-class design strategy and craftsmanship. We are a multidisciplinary creative team responsible for branding and visual identity, graphic design, digital media design, and motion graphics. Reporting to the Design Lead, the Brand Design intern will develop visual brand identities, design systems, and channel executions in support of our EA SPORTS portfolio.
Our ideal candidate is a rising senior undergraduate student who is majoring in graphic design. You should have a passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture, understand typography design, color, trends, and be proficient in design / ideation,
Primary Responsibilities:
You will use your skills to contribute to and or create brand across EA SPORTS
Madden and College Football.
You will be working with multiple teams of designers, and brand partners to deliver creative in line with the EA SPORTS brand guidelines.
This opportunity will require strong collaborative skills to meet deadlines, while talking your partners through the thinking behind your work
Participate in design reviews and actively seek feedback from team members, using this input to iterate and improve on design concepts.
Skills and experience:
Possess solid communication skills.
Hands-on design, typography, and layout skills.
Be creative and bring a fresh perspective while working within the brand and project parameters.
Detail oriented.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
Skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Google slides.
Passion for design, the NFL and College Football!

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
HOURLY PAY RANGES
California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $19 - $29 USD Hourly
New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): º $19 - $29 USD Hourly
Jersey City, NJ : º $19 - $29 USD Hourly
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): º $18 - $24 USD Hourly
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $19 - $24 USD Hourly
The pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k). Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
