What you will do:
Understand product design principles, processes and standards to ensure we build engaging game feature experiences that meet the expectations of our players
Advocate for user experience, product consistency, and design excellence across the product
Apply your graphic design skills in composition, grids, colour theory and typography to our interactive experiences in-game
You will create pixel-accurate screen mocks based on feature requirements
You will provide production support (such as screen specifications and redlines) to ensure that the handoff to the engineering team is streamlined
You will document design elements implemented throughout the game
Be responsible for 2D (*and 3D) asset creation and consistency across the game for assets such as iconography and photography
Organise meetings with design and product leadership to communicate progress against goals
Participate in sharing constructive feedback in design reviews based on product goals
5+ years of experience in a Visual Design role
Capabilities in Visual and Interaction Design (For Console, PC or Mobile)
A portfolio of work that showcases relevant work that contains well thought out process and excellent craft execution (please include your portfolio link on your resume)
Proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Suite
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area
You will report to the Visual Design Manager
Familiarity with 3D software packages
Familiarity working in a game engine
CONTRACT POSITION - 12 MONTHS
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location. The hourly pay ranges represent in good faith what applicants can expect to be paid for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
HOURLY PAY RANGES
California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $30 - $50
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): º $30 - $50
New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): º $30 - $50
Jersey City, NJ: º $30 - $50
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $30 - $50
