The EA GAMES Integrated Marketing Intern (“Praktikant Integrated Marketing EA GAMES”) is part of the GSA (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and NX (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark) Brand Marketing and Integrated Communications team and will be working on EA GAMES franchises (e.g. APEX Legends, The Sims, STAR WARS, Battlefield, Dragon Age, EA Originals). Focus will be on marketing-related tasks and projects. In addition, you will also work on social and community engagement, as well as external communications. Main objective will be supporting the overall growth of our franchises. You will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of up-to-date integrated product marketing and communications. After an introductory phase, the Integrated Marketing Intern will get the chance to own responsible tasks within the local Brand Marketing and Integrated Communications team. The internship should last 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Support the brand marketing team in their daily work with focus on campaign execution for our EA GAMES franchises in the GSA and NX region (with a primary focus on Germany).
Take over administrative tasks like research, quality checks, reportings, data analysis, asset organisation on local servers, sample/code distribution etc.
Support the team in executing earned media strategy (evaluation of local relevancy, outreach, related content distribution, texting, monitoring, reporting) via agency as appropriate.
Help with planning and executing local influencer activations (sourcing, approving, monitoring, reporting) via agency or in direct contact as appropriate.
Support in engaging with core community
Support in maintaining local social media channels
Support the team with local partnership handling (planning, sourcing, executing, approving, monitoring, reporting).
Assist by staffing press and influencer events (physically or digitally, as appropriate).
Help with German localisation approvals of marketing assets and with building of marketing presentations.
Sources and monitors trends and consumer behaviours within our target groups/community/player base and industry.
Takes part in local/regional/international team and cross-functional Marketing and Communication calls/ meetings.
Qualifications / Desired Skills:
Passion and affinity for video gaming and entertainment.
Previous Experience (such as internships) in the communications/marketing sector is welcomed.
Native German speaker plus excellent English (both in written and oral communication).
Great communication skills, ability to work in a team and an international environment.
Positive, open-minded personality.
Good knowledge of the media, social media, influencer market and communication landscape (focus Germany), as well as interest and feeling for future trends.
Understanding of consumer behaviour on digital channels.
Independent, proactive, and structured way of working with excellent organizational skills to balance a wide range of initiatives and dynamic workload.
Accurate and reliable handling of sensitive data.
Solid knowledge of MS-Office package (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Ideally, basic knowledge of image processing (for example, Adobe Photoshop).
