Position Overview:

Reporting to Head of Engineering, as the Director of AI and ML Strategy, Execution, and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our games by leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will drive the strategic direction of AI and ML technologies across data portfolio, ensuring successful execution of projects, and overseeing the operational aspects of AI and ML integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop a clear and AI and ML strategy aligned with the company's vision, product roadmaps, and market trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, data scientists, and artists to identify opportunities for AI and ML integration.

  • Lead the exploration of innovative AI and ML applications that enhance enterprise data and insights

Execution and Delivery:

  • Drive the end-to-end execution of AI and ML projects, from brainstorming to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to the AI and ML teams, encouraging a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Manage project risks, budgets, and resources effectively, adjusting strategies as needed to meet evolving requirements.

Operational Excellence:

  • Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and guidelines for AI and ML development, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of AI and ML systems into the data infrastructure.

  • Monitor and analyze AI and ML performance metrics, optimizing systems for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product managers to identify AI and ML opportunities that align with generative AI and data science strategies..

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to use AI and ML insights for personalized player experiences and targeted campaigns.

Industry Awareness:

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies, data trends, and industry innovations.

  • Attend conferences, workshops, and networking events to foster relationships with experts and potential partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience (8+ years) in AI and ML development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferably within the gaming industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute AI and ML strategies and model that drive business value.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
