Development Manager - EA SPORTS™ UFC
Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, the EA SPORTS UFC team is on a mission to become the world's greatest fighting game. If you're passionate about building immersive digital entertainment, this is the role of a lifetime.Reporting to a Development Director, a Development Manager (DM) ensures the game feature delivery is on time and within budget. This DM will support and oversee the project schedule and manage the team to achieve a high standard. This team works hybrid/onsite in Vancouver, 3 days/week: Tuesday - Thursday.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES * British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage a development team which generally consists of Software Engineers, Animators, Artists, Producers, Designers, and QV.
- Provide project management support for your team, schedule work in alignment with project goals, track dependencies, identify, raise, and facilitate resolution of risks, escalate issues as required, and facilitate prioritization decisions.
- Work collaboratively with other project managers to resolve cross-team issues and improve project management processes
- Ensure each project setup and progress is in alignment with leadership expectations. Complete status reports at the required cadence.
- Establish processes to ensure all workflows are clearly defined, processes are documented, and team members are engaged.
Your Qualifications
- 3+ years of Project Management or Project Lead Experience with production lifecycles, processes and project planning
- Bachelor's degree in any number of related fields including Computer Science, Game Development, Business, or equivalent.
- Experience in a software development environment, including using tools such as Jira
- Experience working with expansive teams with a variety of skillsets, experience, and backgrounds
- Familiarity with tools such Miro, Slack, Excel, Google Sheets, and other project-tracking and reporting tools is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex information, communicate risks clearly, and tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different project timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to use generative AI productivity tools for daily workflow optimization, early-stage ideation, rapid prototyping, with the ability to critically validate AI output and iterate effectively is an asset.
