Working with game team partners around the world, we deliver consistent, high-quality content that supports product goals, visual standards, and player experience. We are looking for pioneers who can take clear ownership, solve production challenges, and deliver measurable results in a fast-growing studio environment.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Working under the guidance of the Art Director, you will create concepts that align with established worldbuilding, seasonal themes, visual direction, gameplay requirements, and product goals.
  • You will explore, iterate, and validate design ideas through sketches, paintovers, quick visual studies, and rapid 3D models or sculpts, taking concepts from early research and development through approved final designs.
  • You will collaborate closely with game design, art direction, development direction, production, and 3D art leads to ensure concepts are visually compelling, practical to build, and delivered against agreed milestone expectations.
  • Make clear commitments, track progress against those commitments, and complete assigned deliverables on time and to the required quality standard.
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers through regular reviews, production updates, and milestone check-ins.
  • Incorporate guidance and feedback from stakeholders in a constructive and solution-focused manner, balancing creative ambition with production, gameplay, and technical requirements.
  • Identify and address design challenges throughout the research and development process, including shape language, functionality, visual hierarchy, theme alignment, and consistency with the established game world.
  • Create clear and effective concept presentations that communicate design intent and showcase proposed in-game content in the best possible light.
  • Provide production-ready visual information that enables 3D artists and development partners to interpret and implement approved concepts accurately.

Qualifications:

You have 0–5 years of professional game development experience and can demonstrate the following:

  • Strong character concept design skills, with a focus on anatomy, costume design, clothing manufactory, hairstyles, gear, accessories, and character identity.
  • High proficiency with 2D art software such as Adobe Photoshop.
  • Ability to use rapid 3D modelling, blockouts, paintovers, and other visualisation methods to explore and communicate design ideas efficiently.
  • Experience using AI-assisted creative tools for ideation, iteration, rendering, and workflow acceleration, with the ability to evaluate, refine, and integrate outputs into a professional concept art pipeline while responsibly handling confidential information, intellectual property, source material, and production data.
  • Good understanding of character research and development processes, concept-to-production workflows, and game art pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of shape language, composition, layout, proportion, color, lighting, material definition, mood, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to design believable and visually distinctive characters that support an established world, narrative context, gameplay role, and visual direction.
  • Ability to receive feedback from multiple stakeholders, respond constructively, and revise work while maintaining clarity of design intent.
  • Ability to break down assigned work into clear tasks, provide reliable estimates, update priorities with production, and deliver against agreed schedules.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team across concept art, 3D art, design, production, and development leadership.
