Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) is a global team supporting the delivery of quality verification for all EA game development studios.

We're looking for Business Operations Manager, reporting to the Head of QVS Operations, partnering with QVS leaders and the existing operations team, to guide the planning and control of our operational activities.

The role responsibilities:

  • Provide necessary oversight and support in the execution of essential QVS day to day operational responsibilities.

  • Partner with QVS business operations leaders, our Resource Management Office (RMO), our Program Management Office (PMO), and our People Experience (PE), Talent Acquisition (TA) and Finance partners, to identify opportunities & lead process improvements.

  • Manage and oversee the learning and development plans for the organization in collaboration with the Learning and Communications team.

  • Plan and manage workshops with cross-organizational teams using various collaboration tools (Miro, Google Drive, Asana, Jira, Trello, etc.)

  • Improve operating workflows and manual processes by implementing scalable, simplified and automated solutions across multiple disciplines that consider analytics and technology.

  • Implement measurements that track discipline performance, delivery, and financial status to find and address core risks to our business and partner teams.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement within our essential processes, align with partners, and implement.

  • Promote strategic programs within QVS, including annual goals.

  • Use data and insights as a resource to guide effective and efficient decisions across our business.

  • Work with the operations teams to understand overall headcount across resource types including: financial impact, chargeback variance, and focused analysis.

  • Manage maintenance and evolution of our QVS overall and BU-specific operations dashboards.

  • Support or own aspects of the consolidated QVS operating and capital budgets, including resource plans.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with process improvement and automation tools.

  • Proficient change management skills.

  • The ability to track, model and present information in engaging ways.

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in operations management or a related field.
