Crystal Dynamics is searching for an experienced Financial Analyst who's ready to dive deep into financial data and provide valuable insights. This role is perfect for professionals with a strong foundation in financial analysis who can consistently deliver high-quality results, collaborate effectively with senior team members, and work with minimal supervision.

As a Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Analyze and present financial results to both senior management and operations teams, including full spectrum variance analysis and the identification and context of key drivers

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the studio to establish budgets, update forecasts, and uphold financial guidelines.

  • Partner closely with the accounting department during monthly and yearly closes.

  • Respond efficiently to ad-hoc analysis requests and support data collection inquiries.

  • Cultivate a thorough understanding of our business sectors to offer substantial financial data and operational insights.

  • Continuously focus on improving processes, advocating for efficiency, standardization, and automation.

  • Uphold responsibilities both independently and collaboratively across different departments.

To be considered for this role, we require the following:

  • Professional experience in business analytics or finance for a medium to large company.

  • Proficiency in collating and understanding vast amounts of data using analytical tools.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools for dashboard creation.

  • Strong understanding and proficiency in utilizing Power Query for data manipulation and transformation.

  • Aptitude for interpreting complex data sets and presenting in an easily digestible format.

  • Working knowledge of major financial systems.

  • Familiarity with key financial concepts.

  • A detail-oriented approach, with flexibility to manage changing priorities and deliver precise outcomes.

  • Ability to work core PST hours consistently and come on-site to San Mateo office, as needed.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Expertise in financial systems specific to the gaming industry.

It'll be a bonus, if you also have:

  • Familiarity with Power BI.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
