About us: We are a digital agency for interactive media and serious games in Stuttgart-West, specializing in development with the Unreal Engine as well as the development of web applications. We are Unreal Community Partners and host the official Unreal Meetups every quarter. Our projects range from immersive 3D experiences to innovative applications in the field of Generative AI, such as digital avatars. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Unreal Developer (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Development with Unreal Engine: Implementation of interactive applications, installations, and 3D experiences in Blueprints and (optionally) also in C++.
• Generalist work: Collaboration on diverse projects – from interactive exhibits to real-time simulations, AI avatars, and virtual product experiences.
• Technical implementation & quality assurance: Independent implementation, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Integration of interfaces: Connecting external systems, web APIs, and AI models (e.g., LLMs, speech or vision APIs).
• Close collaboration within the team: Coordination with project managers, artists, and developers to technically implement creative-communicative ideas.
• Innovation & Development: Active participation in the design of new tools, workflows, and features within our Unreal pipelines.

Your profile:

• Several years of experience specifically in development with Unreal Engine (focus on Blueprints, at least basic C++ knowledge)
• Broad technical understanding of rendering, materials, lighting, animation, and interaction – you feel like an "Unreal Generalist."
• Practice in the implementation of real projects with a focus on quality, stability, and reproducible workflows.
• Interest in new technologies: Openness to AI integrations, API communication, and data-driven applications.
• Bonus skills: Experience with Metahuman Framework, motion capturing & cleanup, sequencer, face AR, or character animation.
• Independent working style and high personal responsibility, combined with team spirit and clear communication.
• Enthusiasm for using technology in a communicative context – not just for the sake of technology.
• Languages: Fluent in German or English, both spoken and written.

Deine Aufgaben:

• Entwicklung mit der Unreal Engine: Umsetzung von interaktiven Anwendungen, Installationen und 3D-Erlebnissen in Blueprints und (optional) auch C++.
• Generalistisches Arbeiten: Mitarbeit an vielseitigen Projekten – von interaktiven Exponaten bis hin zu Echtzeit-Simulationen, KI-Avataren und virtuellen Produkterlebnissen.
• Technische Umsetzung & Qualitätssicherung: Eigenverantwortliche Implementierung, Debugging und Performance-Optimierung.
• Integration von Schnittstellen: Anbindung externer Systeme, Web-APIs und KI-Modelle (z. B. LLMs, Speech- oder Vision-APIs).
• Enge Zusammenarbeit im Team: Abstimmung mit Projektleitern, Artists und Developern, um kreativ-kommunikative Ideen technisch umzusetzen.
• Innovation & Weiterentwicklung: Aktive Mitgestaltung neuer Tools, Workflows und Features innerhalb unserer Unreal-Pipelines.

Dein Profil:

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung spezifisch im Development mit der Unreal Engine (Blueprints-Schwerpunkt, mind. C++ Grundkenntnisse)
• Breites technisches Verständnis für Rendering, Materials, Lighting, Animation und Interaktion – du fühlst dich als „Unreal Generalist“.
• Praxis in der Umsetzung realer Projekte mit Fokus auf Qualität, Stabilität und reproduzierbare Workflows.
• Interesse an neuen Technologien: Offenheit für KI-Integrationen, API-Kommunikation und datengetriebene Anwendungen.
