As our Social Media Manager, you will be the link between our internal marketing strategy and fans. ACEND is on the rise and we are looking for experienced and dedicated people to expand our operations. We are therefore looking for someone reliable, well organized and highly creative with the ability to deliver content for Acend fans.

The Social Media Manager will help grow and maintain Acend’s Social Media platforms. Paying close attention to social trends is necessary with an understanding of how to adapt to algorithms & the ability to be agile towards reactive content.

Introduction:

ACEND quickly rose to success, conquering the Valorant scene and becoming the first World Champions. Now, our aim is to increase our reach within professional Esports and gaming, to find and develop teams to their maximum potential.

Having established a facility in Sofia, Bulgaria, our current focus is on Counterstrike, PUBG and the Bulgarian esports scene, so knowledge of one or more of these areas is a plus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning content ahead & building out content schedules;

  • Researching trending content/music;

  • Staying up to date with everything Esports and gaming related;

  • Executing on content strategies and storytelling everything Acend related;

  • Creating emotions and engagement through Social Media posts;

  • Collaborating with our content, community & design teams closely.

  • Engaging with our current fanbase and building new fans, especially in the Bulgarian region.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year experience creating & posting content for brands across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.

  • Has the ability to work proficiently in the Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Premier Pro (After Effects is a bonus).

  • Good knowledge of the Esports and video gaming industry and an appetite to develop and learn more about the industry.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to content delivery;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • A creative mindset and a flexible, β€˜can do’ approach to problem solving;

  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels;

  • The ability to manage a variety of projects and partner matters at the same time;

  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;

This is a remote position, however being located close to Sofia, Bulgaria and able to travel to our head office there is a large bonus to application. Fluency in Bulgarian is also beneficial but not a requirement.
