A not-Spiderman webslinger game is being created in Unreal Engine 5

Former Firesprite and Codemasters game dev, Jack Bognar, is working on a game titled "Not Spiderman vs Criminals".

This VR multiplayer prototype will have players swinging through the skies using buildings and helicopters - take a look below.

The indie game, developed in Unreal Engine 5, has drawn heavy inspiration from the Marvel web-slinger, Spiderman. Humorously, Jack previously referred to the title as "legally distinct Spiderman vs Criminals", to avoid any infringement from the major entertainment brand.

Unlike the well-known character, you'll be packing weapons as you swing through the city! In videos shared on Jack's Twitter, your character has automatic rifles, pistols, and even a bullet-shooting wrist gadget!
