Zenimax Central Services Group is looking for an experienced Release Coordinator to join our team. The release coordinator will work with all parts of our internal teams and our partnered studios to facilitate communication, solve problems related to the Bethesda.net platform and ensure organizational preparedness for title launches and events. 

Candidates will be comfortable influencing and negotiating priorities with other teams’ leadership, particularly emphasizing overall organizational success as the most highly desirable outcomes. They will have a proven track record for identifying issues early and pushing the organization towards a resolution. They are passionate about building relationships and operate with a customer centric attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the integrity of live services when coordinating changes and releases

  • Coordinates internal change management and tracks emergent issues

  • Plans and manages internal live releases and changes and tracks emergent issues

  • Coordinates efforts between game development teams and platform development teams

  • Collaborates with Engineering, Development, and QA to triage issues found in the live environments and drives toward resolution

  • Identifies, tracks and analyzes appropriate release-related metrics

  • Identifies potential problems early and contributes to solving those problems in a timely manner

  • Manages the communication of issue status reports and drives postmortem efforts

  • Coordinates large scale technical projects that require coordination with different business disciplines

  • Ensures transparent communication between developers and management on development and issue status

  • Communicates product health / status with a leadership group regarding product risks and challenges, with solutions to address them

  • Manage and grow external partner relationships

Qualifications

  • Superior time management and organizational skills are essential

  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency

  • 2+ years in a position where you directly managed the operation of an online

  • 3+ years of production or project management experience

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability

  • Proven success in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in achieving established objectives

  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential

  • Technical background a plus

  • ITIL training or knowledge of ITIL Service Management principles a plus
